Firstly are you top at the keywords you're targeting? Yes?

Then are you targeting new keywords ? Are you getting fresh content into your website on a regular basis ?

If you're not at the top then you need to get a few really high quality backlinks (if you're current links are not of high enough quality); by doing this it'll actually make your bad quality links seem higher to google; making your ranks go up.

It seems like you have been doing the right things SEO wise to be gaining 1000 hit month on month growth. I would be thinking that it is more likely to be keyword demand being saturated why your growth has stopped. What keyword traffic estimater tool do you use?

What is your site and what are your goals? People totally overlook aspects that are on their site already. You have to think about the users already on your site and figure out what changes you can make to either have the word spread some more by word of mouth before you consider SEO from that point. You are having growing pains..that is all. Get some site reviews man so we can help you out further...

well it's hard to say why your traffic has just been freezed to a certain amount. There are a lot of things to check such as SERP, keywords, Analytics etc. plus you can continue writing articles or you can host a free blog on wordpress and post interesting content on it to allure the audience. Don't forget to be a member of social communities and socialize with people.

One other observation about your traffic levels...are you sure there is demand out there for your keywords? Maybe your current set of keywords has hit a natural ceiling of searches per month. If so, do more keyword research and up the number of keywords you are targeting. If this is not the case then there are plenty of additional ways of generating traffic - up the QUALITY of your backlinks, social media (as has been discussed), article marketing, blogging, twitter etc are viable, although labour intensive, ways of generating more traffic.

If your site is commercial have you considered adwords? Word of warning - ads are very expensive thiese days and you will want to do full due dilligence before starting down thios road.

Have you moved your SEO beyond backlinks and directories? Have you tried articles as a means of building backlinks? What about social marketing?

What keywords are you targeting and where are you in the SERPs for those keywords

Also you need to get analytics and assess where your traffic is coming from so you can escalate this

Hmm how have you built backlinks? What type of site you running, maybe a blog will help increase visitors, maybe social bookmark submissions will help you attract visitors... give us some more info on the site then i'll be able to help more
