Finding quality domaines for your niche/website
Apr 18, 2023 - 12:25 PM - by admin
Are all the good domains gone?
yeh, they were snapped up in the 1990's/early 2000's but theres still hope for people who want to get started online, you can still buy marketable domains. The key to the internet is the search engines, most people use the search engines to find your website, unless you have a generic domain such as shopping.com and cars.com etc etc when you will get type in traffic to these.
So what people these days need to learn and do is SEO, but finding the right... [Read More]

Finding quality domaines for your niche/website

Are all the good domains gone?
yeh, they were snapped up in the 1990's/early 2000's but theres still hope for people who want to get started online, you can still buy marketable domains. The key to the internet is the search engines, most people use the search engines to find your website, unless you have a generic domain such as shopping.com and cars.com etc etc when you will get type in traffic to these.
So what people these days need to learn and do is SEO, but finding the right domain for SEO purposes can be hard if you havn't searched for them before.

There are a number of great websites out there for finding dropped domains, with and without current traffic.

Here my list.

For UK names, try
http://whythink.co.uk/expiring-domains.html
with .co.uk domains you will need a .co.uk catcher, you can try caught.co.uk, dropcatcher.co.uk etc.

For TLD's (top level domains) try these

https://www.tdnam.com/trpHome.aspx?t=2
- you will need a subscription at TDNAM,costs something like $4 for a year.

http://www.expireddomains.com/
www.deleteddomains.com

there are hundreds of quality domain drop pages out there, just do a little search for them.

But i want to talk further on TDNam to find domains for your niche.
check out www.tdnam.com and you can click the tabs
Featured Expiring Ending Soon Most ActiveETC, and you can do an advanced search for traffic domains, keywords, price etc etc.

Buying expired domains from this site (don't quote me on this) but i think godaddy will continually register them, so they wont drop! If i'm correct, the search engines will like you more than a freshly reg'd domain with no previous history, allowing you to rank quicker, and gain profits quicker.

Note; never bought a domain off TDNAM, but i will do soon.

You should aim to get good niche keyword domains, with traffic, and them put the keywords in to tools like the ones we've mentioned

http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/
http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

and compare the keywords with the results returned on google, if the searches from the two sites above are high, and the google results are low, and you have a aged domain, your on to a winner. Keep having ago at it and if you have any questions post here.
I'm currently searhing the lists for niches, and will report back what i buy.
